A native of Clear Spring, Maryland, LeRoy’s professional background includes over four decades in the construction industry as the Owner and President of Myers Building Systems Inc., serving clients across Maryland, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Virginia. His dedication to his community also led him to public service, where he proudly represented District 1C in the Maryland House of Delegates for 12 years.

With an eye for detail and a passion for meaningful experiences, LeRoy now focuses on helping clients craft custom vacations that fit their unique interests and needs. As a passionate travel enthusiast and Certified Travel Consultant with 41 years of experience, I’m dedicated to crafting unforgettable journeys for families, couples and solo adventurers. I’m enthusiastic about exploring the world and helping others experience it.

I recently crossed off a bucket list destination and travelled to the island of Oahu in Hawaii. I was in awe at the beauty of it all and the thought-provoking history of Pearl Harbor. It’s been said that “In order to experience the total paradise of the islands, one must experience two things: the spirit of Aloha and the spirit of Ohana.” I soon discovered that it is more than just a catchphrase, it is a way of life! Surf, sand, delicious food and friendly people! Grand Cayman is a favorite destination for me, so much so that I bought a time-share there and visit often. Restaurants, cafés, boutiques, art galleries and duty-free shopping are complemented by miles of gorgeous beaches. Kayaking in the Bioluminescent Bay, visiting Stingray City and Starfish Point are just some of the many adventures I have enjoyed in Grand Cayman.

 I’ve been to England and Scotland, staying in historic castles and countryside bed & breakfasts as I made my way from London to Edinburgh, marveling at the scenic landscape and historical architecture along the way. My most memorable trip was a Tauck River Cruise in Europe. Seeing Germany, Austria, Slovakia and Hungary was awe-inspiring as I travelled along the scenic waterways of the Rhine, Danube and Seine, passing by charming towns and historic cities, seeing medieval castles, picturesque vineyards and diverse landscapes.

 I’ve travelled all over the United States and Eastern Canada. From the Eastern Shore heading north to Nova Scotia, Montreal and Toronto and south to the Carolinas, Georgia and Tennessee. I’ve been to the east and west coasts of Florida, Disneyworld and Key West. From Texas to Oklahoma and Nebraska, Grand Canyon and Las Vegas, Zion National Park in Utah, Yosemite and Sequoia National Park, California and the Pacific Coast Highway and Redwood Forest. A lot of it was seen from the back of a Harley!

Jerome’s travel experience is vast, having visited all fifty U.S. States and more than 120 different countries…and counting! Jerome lived in Europe for seven years, first as a Military Intelligence soldier in the U.S. Army, and later as a civilian working for the American government. He’s not only a proud veteran, but a proud father of two children and a grandson.

Jerome is a recently retired teacher, having taught Geography and World Cultures for more than twenty years, sharing his passion with young adults. He remains active in his school district, as he continues to coach Boys and Girls Track & Field and Cross Country.

Jerome Staniszewski (pronounced Stan-a-shef-ski) includes photography, sports and budget travel as his hobbies.
